SEtup Day!I just dropped by the WAO office in PJ around 12 this afternoon, where we're collecting Friday's fruit pledges for Saturday's installation tomorrow. SMK Sultan Abdul Samad was the first school whose donation was collected for the day. I must say, they really like their apples and oranges at that school! I dropped by again a few hours later to encounter THIS fruit spectacle, thanks to Stamford College, SMK Assunta and also the WAO members, WAO Exco members, and the WAO Ex-Exco members! It was a LOT of fruit, and took about an hour to sort through. We received a LOT of apples and oranges, and watermelons and pineapples in particular also were very popular contributions! We also got dukus, mata kucing, kedondong, jambu air and even figs, just to name a few out of the treasure hoard we received today, so thank you so much to everyone who donated this Friday! To see what happens to them, please do stop by Art For Grabs tomorrow. I'm really excited to see what kind of arrangement I can make with these! The WAO office had to close a half hour late, just due to fruit sorting, but it finally got done, and above are the fruit that will go into tomorrow's display. But please don't worry, the installation won't be full by any means. There'll still be plenty of space for you to put your fruit, if you're walking in tomorrow. We are definitely well stocked for tomorrow! Then lobbying around waiting for 10pm so I could start setting up the boxes for the installation at the venue... |
